Common questions about in-person consultations at HASU.

Is the consultation really free?

Yes, the initial in-person consultation at any HASU branch is completely free. There are no hidden charges. Service fees only apply if you proceed with a formal application.

Can I reschedule or cancel my appointment?

Yes. Contact us by phone or WhatsApp at least 24 hours before your appointment to reschedule or cancel. We'll do our best to find you the next available slot.

How long does the session take?

A typical initial consultation is 45–60 minutes. We cover your academic background, destination options, visa requirements, and answer any specific questions you have.

What if I can't visit in person?

We also offer online consultations via Zoom or Google Meet for students outside our branch locations. Contact us on WhatsApp to arrange an online session.

Which branch should I choose?

Choose the branch closest to you. All branches provide the same quality of counseling. The Bhairahawa HQ has the most senior counselors and is also open on Saturdays.

Do I need to confirm before visiting?

Booking in advance ensures you get a dedicated slot with a counselor. Walk-ins are welcome but may need to wait. We recommend booking at least 24 hours ahead.
